"Purpose In Life"
Narconon Graduate
Jeffrey D.
I've been battling with alcohol mainly. I've dabbled in drugs here and there but alcohol was my staple. I've been dealing with that for twenty-five years.
I was pretty much living house to house, friend to friend.
Waking up at like 3:30, 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon, thinking what am I doing with my life, and then I would reach for another drink because I was so miserable.
And I finally was at the end of my rope. I'd gone to a thirty-day rehab before and lasted a week.
Mom and dad said, you know, "We found a place perfect for you."
As soon as I got here, I knew that Narconon was the place for me to be.
Everybody was so friendly. There was not one person including a student or a staff member that looked down. Everybody was just energetic, and they had enthusiasm.
I apply the technology, these methods and materials that we use every day, to solve practical problems.
Now I wake up in the morning, I'm so eager to start the day, like my day can't get here quick enough. You know, I go to bed, wake up early in the morning.
And for me like knowing that I'm having a purpose now in life is like the biggest thing that I've learned in Narconon.
